Alternatives to Final Exam
TedTalk TickTock- Students create a TickTock worthy video demonstrating at TedTalk level of expertise
Conceptual Open Ended Questions- Easier to create in Canvas than multiple choice.  Allows for more holistic grading and partial credit.
Create an answer key (with explanations) to a test they've already taken. (Similar to test corrections)
If a student passes your SOL, you can grade override to pass your class.  In the past this hasn't happened often, but this year it might.
Create an infograph or presentation on topic that they didn't previously master.
Meaningful paragraph (given a list of specific terms, students must use the terms in a paragraph that demonstrates that they understand the terms and their interconnections)
Picture book or visual dictionary of meaningful concepts
