Designing Staff PD
In this session, we will discuss how situating professional development around a central theme creates continuity for a year or semester's worth of work with educators while building their capacity. In addition, we will explore ways in which a PD theme fosters a sense of cohesion and clarity for coaching staff. This session will also provide tangible ideas for ways to piggyback instruction and technology programming in a cohesive package. Coaches and PD providers will walk away with practical advice for selecting their theme, planning PD around that theme, and implementation. We will also provide coaches and PD providers with a framework for developing their thematic PD.
