A substantial portion of the revenue for Roblox came from the sale of virtual items called "Robux" with gameplay becoming more accessible and up-scalable. A significant amount of revenue also came from in-game advertising on Roblox games and Robux, as well as other game companies such as Disney and Warner Bros. Roblox offers a program called the Developer Program, which provides in-game items to developers.
