No. 1 Breaking news: Agitators disrupt eight period, dismissal

I’ve always considered myself a news writer first and foremost. When it comes to the @macjournalism Instagram account, however, it is sports and fine art coverage that take priority. But hate group agitators disrupting the school don’t fall into those categories our caption writers are so used to, so I stepped up. I executed the caption on the day of, so the wider community would know what happened on our school’s doorstep. I chose to use our account’s breaking news graphic instead of a photo so as to not amplify the hateful messages expressed on the agitator’s signs. This is currently the second most liked post in @macjournalism’s history.
