Life is precious and it never comes back
"The purpose of life is to be happy" Spiritual leader Dalai Lama said these words wisely. We should remain happy, remove all the stress, negative thoughts and be positive. Life is beautiful but not always easy, it has problems, too, and the challenge lies in facing them with courage, letting the beauty of life act like a balm, which makes the pain bearable, during trying times, by providing hope. Here I am talking about the life in the lock down. Lock down started on 22 March in Punjab the curfew started on 24 March. The last time I went school was on 16 March, the last day of my final exams. I am missing that school life, meeting my friends on daily basis, my evening cricket classes, those busy markets, outings and so on . But that does not mean that life is completely dull now. In fact, life is flourishing during lock down. Only humans are staying inside home whereas animals, birds, aquatic animals are having the time of their life. The air quality index has improved a lot. The ozone layer has healed. The Earth's average temperature has decreased. I think after we win over Covid-19, life will be a lot easier and happier. But how can we make life happier now? We need to follow a fixed time table and keep ourselves busy while staying indoors. Spend time on some hobbies like I am doing by playing online chess, learning some cooking, learning online computer courses like Miecraft, python, Adobe Spark etc. I am keeping my schedule regular in studies. You know I have learnt how to make maggi noodles, cold coffee and bread pizza and the learning is going on. We should interact with friends via video calls, can have virtual parties on Zoom, Microsoft Teams etc. We had three such get together meetings of school friends In fact, we should spend time on all those hobbies which we were not able to devote due to lack of time. Play, study, learn new things, help the needy and be better than ever. As per WHO’s information Covid-19 is to stay long , so we have to start learning to live with the virus. Let's follow health protocols and stay connected with our nears and dears. Remember, it should be physical distancing only, socially we should stay closely knitted. This is how we'll stay` Happy, Happier and Happiest’ even while staying indoors.
