Events 2017-2019 The World Central Kitchen is located in Port Charlotte, Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. In August 2017, WCK coordinated efforts with the American Red Cross and worked in Houston, Texas following Hurricane Harvey. WCK was active in Southern Californias Ventura County during the December 2017 Thomas Fire to support firefighters and first responders and provide food to families affected by the fires.
