Tier 1 - The primary or extractive sector, raw materials
On the ASOS website there is a section called 'Corporate Responsibility', which can be accessed  by anyone. Here it shows the supply chain that they currently work with. It reveals they have 836 factories manufacturing their product across tiers 1, 2 and 3 of the supply chain.
36% of all fibres used in ASOS brands come from sustainable sources.
In 2018 there was 83% more sustainable cotton used. 
Compared to 2012 in 2018 there was a 14.6% reduction in the carbon footprint for UK products.
In 2019 ASOS banned cashmere, mohair silk, feathers bone, horn, shell and teeth. 
Further down the corporate responsibility section they also have a whole segment on discovering more about their approach to sourcing, creating and developing their products, including a sourcing map and access to their sustainable sourcing programme. This helps customers see exactly where most of their products have originated from. ASOS  make it very clear were they source the raw materials for their items. They try to have all their aims on their website and to show where mostly all the sources for their raw materials are.  
The website states:  'Our sustainable sourcing programme comprises four pillars.' 
Traceability of raw materials: Mapping our commodities to better understand and influence how they are sourced.
Lowering environmental impact: Increasing the conversion from traditional materials and processes to lower-impact alternatives.
Building a circular fashion future: Using circular principles to guide our approach to product design, materials and manufacture.
Engaging customers on sustainability: Surfacing sustainable products and engaging content to customers through the ASOS shopping journey to educate and inspire them.
Tier 2 - The secondary sector, manufacturing
From January 2020 onwards the online fashion retail company ASOS had the highest number of manufacturing factories based in China, India and Turkey totalling in at 607 factories all together. Whereas in the United Kingdom where ASOS is originally located the retailer only has 32 factories manufacturing its products. ASOS have over 800+ brands stocked with them in which they are asked to make four new ethical manufacturing commitments as one of the conditions to their products to continue being sold on the company's website. ASOS also asked the brand of two more things the first being that they join the 'Fast forward' auditing programme and commit to tackling all issues identified during this process,  the second being that they sign the transparency pledge, this means publicly disclosing a list of manufacturing sites in their supply chain, along with mapping and having visibility on all parts of their UK garment manufacturing supply chain and providing evidence of visibility to ASOS. 
Tier 3 - The tertiary sector, retailing/service sector
With ASOS being a online retailer it still provides many benefits to shopping on their store, especially when they offer methods of payment such as Klarna and Clearpay this allows you to split the cost of your orders and gives you time pay it back in advance. They also offer a lot of online services such as Style Match, which is where you upload an image and it searches all of website to find the most close products. Another service they provide is Premier Delivery, where you have the option to pay as little amount of £9.99 and that covers next day delivery for you for the whole year. They also offer 10% student discounts and 24/7 customer service on multiple different platforms of social media and they currently offer it in 11 different languages. 
Stakeholders
Stakeholders are really important because if anything goes wrong with one stakeholder wither that be a supplier which could affect working relationships and cause possible reduction in quality of product and dissatisfy end customers or even it being the customer it could create a domino effect causing a downwards spiral in the business sector as possibly affecting the business as much as be affected by it. Stakeholders can withdrawal at any time if they are not happy with the way the business is operating. Without the customers, ASOS would have no reason to trade and no reason for sales and profits for the company. Customers are essential for the business and without them ASOS would not be successful or even exist.  But each of the stakeholders play a big role in the success of the business and each is vital for the company to say the least. The sourcing department team for ASOS is in constant contact with their suppliers. Internal customers
Internal customers have to maintain a good relationship within their supply chain for their organisations, they are people who work inside the company often known as employees but they do require assistance from a higher up individual or department to get their job done. If they do not complete their job correctly it affects everyone else's roles.
