History
AutoCAD was designed in 1981 by John Hennessy, Jim Purdie, and Douglas R. Widlauch and was first introduced in December 1982 as a desktop program. In 2010, Autodesk Autodesk Inventor was released and Autodesk Revit 2010 was released in 2013. In 2015, Autodesk Revit 2016 was released. In 2016, Autodesk Fusion 360 was released and Autodesk Navisworks was released in 2019.

AutoLISP
AutoLISP, or AutoLISP, is an extensible interpreter used by AutoCAD to provide some programming capabilities, such as visual programming (though Visual LISP has been included in AutoCAD since AutoCAD 4.0, this was originally based on a modified version of the lisp-based programming language called Darklisp). AutoLISP is based on the original LISP programming language, and is similar to AutoLISP 2. AutoLISP was first introduced in the 1985 version of AutoCAD. In AutoCAD R14, it was renamed to Visual LISP. AutoLISP can be used to perform all of the basic drafting operations, such as by using scripted commands to drive part or assembly drawings, or performing a series of mathematical and/or logical operations.
