6- Another pillar of the NC was announced to be “Key Competences” which were also stated to be integrated in the teaching programs and syllabuses (for example, ELTPs are claimed to have them). What are these competencies? Name them and give 2-3 example skills, knowledge areas and attitudes that are related to these competencies?

There are 9 Key Competences.
MONE has listed “Key Competences” as communication in native language, communication in foregin language, mathematic competency, science and technology competencies, digital competency, learning to learn, initiative and entrepreneurship, social and public competencies and cultural awareness and expression.
1-Communicating in mother tongue To communicate in native language, we can use the example of being able to express feelings, thoughts, and ideas accurately and efficiently in verbal and nonverbal situations.
2-Communication in foreign languages Recognize and value social customs, cultural features, and linguistic diversity. Recognizing and comprehending spoken and written messages.
3-Mathematics proficiency To be mathematically competent, you must be able to apply mathematical thinking abilities to any situation and understand and apply mathematical ideas.
4-Science and Technology proficiency Recognizing the impact of science and technology on the natural world. Creating a cause-and-effect connection
5-Digital proficiency Access to the proper use of Internet-based products, as well as fundamental computer and digital abilities, are all required for digital competency.
6-Learning to learn Coping with and overcoming barriers, as well as analyzing himself from all angles and being able to selfcriticize when necessary, are all critical skills for learning to learn.
7- Initiative and entrepreneurship perception to embrace ethical principles,working both independently and collaboratively.
8-Social and public competences Social and public skills include being sensitive to social events, raising awareness, and knowing about your country's history.
9- Cultural awareness and expression Cultural awareness and expression requires the ability to notice the beautiful aspects of life and to consider them from a cultural perspective.
