Most folks in Georgia are familiar with the HOPE Scholarship. It covers about 75% of public college tuition in the state for high school graduates pursuing a degree who have a "B" or better grades in high school. But did you know that the state also pays about 75% of tuition for students pursuing most diploma or certificate programs? And you don't have to have a certain GPA to qualify? It's called the HOPE Grant program. Once you start the program, you do have to keep your grades up to keep receiving the grant. If you earn a 3.5+ GPA in college, you can even get 100% tuition paid by the Zell Miller Grant for eligible certificate and diploma programs. 
If you want to pursue a degree rather than a certificate or diploma, you may become eligible for the HOPE Scholarship if you have a 3.0 GPA once you have completed 30 credit hours of college work.
