Restrictions lifted
As I am sure you are aware, the government has taken the decision to lift all COVID related restrictions in Hungary. This is great news and hopefully, this time the changes will be permanent. A big thank you to everyone in our community for their patience and conformity over the last two years. It has been a long journey.
In line with the lifting of restrictions within Hungary, we will be moving to 'optional' mask wearing in school from Monday 7th March.
Over the last two years, we have introduced several new systems, initially as a result of the pandemic, with regards to entering and exiting the school and collecting and dropping off of children. We have been monitoring their success over this period and feel that they are even stronger systems from a security and safeguarding point of view than what we had in place pre-pandemic. As a result, we are going to keep these in place, moving forward. This means that the current systems for collecting children from late pick-up at the front door, drop off and collection of Primary students on the top playground, entering and exiting the site (ie Primary at the back, Secondary at the front), parent entry to the school building by appointment or invitation only and running many of our events online and in person will be maintained.
