Create a Custom Roblox Server
Everyone who plays Roblox can play as much as they want. However, to get an advantage while you're playing, it's best to have your own private server where you can always play alone with a favorite weapon. Luckily, you can use our automated design tool to create a custom server with a custom map for your world. In it, you can have various vehicles, enemies, and characters. Many other features can also be added to the map, such as obstacles, features to collect, or even a shop. The customizable server is free, but you'll need a Roblox account to use it. Make sure you create your Roblox account before creating your own server.
How to Create a Custom Roblox Server
Step 1
Make sure you are using version 4.8 of the Roblox website. The other versions of the Roblox website are able to create servers, but you will not be able to customize them later.
Step 2
Click the buttons at the top of the page that say something like "Edit Server" to get to the Server Setup screen.
Step 3
Scroll down on the Server Setup page and click "Create New Server". This will create the basic structure of the server. You should see a link to Change Server, so make sure to check it.
Step 4
Click Create New Server and fill in the fields on the next screen. Use the default settings for everything until you get to the Custom Map.
Step 5
Click Custom Map and use the map builder. It's perfectly fine to make the map as big or as small as you like. Select if you want to add special characters and objects to the map, such as a "room" you can hide in or a character for you to play around with in your own version of Roblox.
Step 6
Click Save and leave the map. It will be automatically set up and have a name.
Join a Custom Roblox Server
