With just that sentiment, daffodils are probably not the best choice of flower for a desktop picture. But I think the creation of a simple, graphic, but beautiful desktop picture is a simple expression of the work people do on a daily basis.
Daffodil images are simple, evocative icons with a difference. Instead of portraying abstracts like butterflies or even trees, they represent a living flower in its natural surroundings and in a moment of natural beauty.
And I think that the final result of such an image conveys the same sentiments as the words I've written above. We might all feel or think differently depending on the weather and season, but I think we can all agree on the moment of spring and the joy it brings to all of us.

Use Twilight Desktop Icons
If you are an admin of your computer and have administrative rights (you have to log in as administrator) you can launch the program for the icons you downloaded.
You can launch the Twilight desktop icons application from the Start menu in Windows 7.
In Windows XP the application can be run from folder 'My Documents' or 'Program Files' if you have administrative rights.
In Windows XP in the Start menu right-click the application name, or move your cursor to the top-right corner of the Start menu and press a button.
If the application icon does not have the red crossed it means that the application is not registered in the Start menu. You can do that by right-clicking the icon, selecting 'Properties', then go to the 'Compatibility' tab, and change the 'Reserve this program's space' from 'No reserve' to 'Yes'.
You can set desktop shortcuts for your applications. In order to do that, right-click the application's icon and go to 'Properties'.
Then click on 'Shortcut' tab and enter a shortcut. You can also click the 'Create Shortcut' button.
