Learning Through Service
I am excited to announce that our class will soon begin learning about our nation's veterans, who bravely serve to allow us to enjoy the freedoms that we enjoy. We will learn about the values that are connected to those who serve in the military and strive to demonstrate these values in our own lives. These values include: honor, courage, integrity, commitment, and service. In November, our class will also run a school fundraiser to support the Wounded Warrior Project. The students will sell bracelets to other students in our school that have the values we learn about printed on them. This project will involve the students advertising, filling orders, counting and keeping track of money, and making a donation to this wonderful organization. In addition to this fundraiser, we would love for our awesome parents (that's YOU) to share our fundraising page with family and friends on social media or through email to gain support for our project.
