WinVault is a useful and easy-to-use application. Its purpose is to help you store all your valuable files in a secure container.

Password based key generation.
AES encryption with 256 bit keys.
After saving a vault the user will get a confirmation via email.
Very convenient user interface.
This is a beta version of WinVault. It still has some bugs.
So PLEASE report any bugs you find and tell me what exactly you find not to be working.
Some bug reports may not be very useful as the underlying cause is most likely not a bug.

Uses the standard AesCryptoServiceProvider which is suitable for the 'AesCryptoServiceProvider.GenerateKey()' method.
The key is generated using the Password Based Key Generation from RFC2898.
Uses the standard RijndaelManaged for encrypting/decrypting the files.
Encrypts and decrypts the files using 256 bit AES.
Supported Operating Systems:
Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP (SP3 or higher)
Windows Server 2016, 2012 (SP2 or higher)
The latest Windows 8.1 should be able to use WinVault as well.
WinVault is free software released under the GPL license version 3.
WinVault can be installed and run on Windows 10.
You can copy WinVault to any directory (folder) in the Windows operating system.
WinVault can also be installed to a USB Pen-drive.
