Lining up and pasting
After you define the area you want to remove, you can either crop the entire area and delete what you don't want or use the Erase tool to remove parts of an image. For example, you can use Erase to remove objects from your image, leaving just the background. You also can use Erase to remove objects from the background.
To remove a portion of an image, position the Eraser tool where you want to remove the unwanted portion (see Figure 8-2). Then click or drag over the area to select it and press Delete or Alt-Backspace.

The software includes a program for resizing and cropping images. There is also a basic editor for writing text such as captions and documents, which you can use to save your photographs.
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is the most popular and intuitive photography editing software. It runs on the macOS, Windows, and iOS operating systems.
It allows you to apply edits to images without making a clone copy of the original photo. It is light on resources and works well on old computers.
Finally, Pixelmator is for image editing on macOS. It is very fast and simple to use. It doesn’t have as many features as Photoshop Elements or Lightroom but it is nevertheless a great option for beginners.
Themes for Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop comes with the different themes and images for downloading. These themes can be downloaded easily via the website or through the Photoshop application.
There are a number of images to choose from such as the Nature, Travel, Crop, Landscape, Portrait, Digital Photo, & Black & White themes. Moreover, themes are readily available for design elements like brooches, flora, fonts, letters, etc.
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom comes with a large variety of image stock. The stock of high-quality images is available for those images on any type of theme that includes the Crop, Photographic, Watercolor, Hand Sketch, Old Text, and other themes.
This application also comes with some themes such as the Nature and Design. The stock of images is wide and contains images for all types of design like shoes, bags, and vintage photographs.
Pixelmator also includes some themes. It can be downloaded for free in the form of a desktop or iOS app. Some of the Pixelmator themes are for nature, architecture, and gadgets.
The last of the available tools are the brushes and filters. You can download them from the Photoshop Brush Library and Photoshop Image Library.
