When you start up Ohmicide you're presented with a decent but slightly lackluster demo preset. The demo presets include only the distortion, EQ and compression modules (which does make sense), however you can instantly switch into the less-stripped down Ohmicide Mode by pressing the red square button on the top left of the plugin. Ohmicide Mode is the best way to try Ohmicide and will reveal all of its distortion, compression, EQ and filter capabilities.
Ohmicide's distortion and compression are built into a dual band filter structure. One band is a high quality peak detector distortion with lush clean sounds and a tight feel to the upper mids. The other band is a digital filter with a completely crazy curve designed to make your music sound amazing.
