Why? It walks student through doing a think pair share exercise
How?
Pair students.
The students read an article or watch a video taking notes/annotating on their paper/slide.(10 minutes)
They discuss their notes and write down the similarities in a Venn Diagram. (10 minutes)
 Finally each student writes a summary paragraph of what they learned on their own. I've also had the students create a Flipgrid video instead. (10 minutes)
Each section takes 10 minutes thus this activity is generally 30 minutes total except when virtual is involved then it has taken up to an extra 10-15 minutes because........technology is beautiful
