AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD Architecture have differing feature sets.
AutoCAD LT is very limited in what it can do; the user can draw basic line drawings, points, and polygons, but cannot edit them in any way. The user can modify only the properties of objects, and cannot add text, dimension, or otherwise change the document in any way.
AutoCAD Architecture, on the other hand, is the most powerful and flexible application, with a feature set similar to that of some proprietary CAD programs. It is particularly well-suited for architectural design. It is designed for large and complex drawings, and its very flexible features enable the user to manage a large number of drawings and properties. Although AutoCAD LT can be used to make architectural drawings, AutoCAD Architecture is more suitable for this purpose.

Windows Runtime 
In addition to the legacy applications, AutoCAD 2016 includes a number of platform services that operate on the Windows Runtime using WinRT APIs. AutoCAD 2016 includes both AutoLISP and Visual LISP, which provide an interface for scripting and automation.
Visual LISP can be used to script drawing and report generation, as well as simulate, test, and debug AutoCAD software. Scripts can be compiled into a stand-alone executable that can run automatically from a shortcut on the desktop.
Visual LISP users can use built-in variables and functions to perform text substitution. It can call AutoCAD-specific functions including GetTextPosition, GetTextSize, GetTextFormat, and so on. However, the code has to be pure AutoLISP, so that no conflicts arise from the over- and under-loading of Windows Runtime functions. Visual LISP is also limited to functions specific to AutoCAD; it cannot access functions provided by Microsoft Windows or Microsoft Office.
AutoLISP is used to create and modify drawings, to simulate and debug AutoCAD, and to perform automated operations. Visual LISP is not subject to the same limitations as AutoLISP and can be used to write code that can access other Microsoft functions.

AutoCAD 2016 includes a collection of native.NET classes that allow programmers to create.NET applications using the same programming language that AutoCAD uses.
The common language runtime (CLR) is a software component designed to allow multiple languages to be executed in the same process space.
