Through the Beyond the Bell Grant, Clayton Ridge has developed an after-school STEM-based program designed to provide our students with the opportunity to explore various aspects of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
Our program aims to create meaningful community connections by inviting local businesses to share how STEM is utilized within their organizations. These presentations will give students valuable insights into real-world applications of STEM, inspiring them to pursue careers in these fields.

Program Details:
Community Day: Tuesdays
Time: 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Location: Clayton Ridge Middle and High School, Guttenberg, Iowa

Possible Presentation Ideas:
- Technology in Agriculture: Showcase how advancements in technology have improved farming techniques and productivity.
- Engineering Innovations: Present recent engineering projects and discuss the design and problem-solving processes involved.
- Healthcare and Technology: Explain how medical technology has evolved and its impact on patient care and treatment.
- Environmental Science: Discuss local environmental issues and how scientific research and technology are being used to address them.
- Any other ideas you may have.
