Geometric modelling 
Geometric modelling is the process of making detailed digital representations of objects, such as the design of buildings or a car.
The geometric models are usually generated using 3D CAD software such as Autodesk 3ds Max or Autodesk Maya. After creation of the model, the model can be exported to, for example, a simulation and visualisation software such as Maya or Maxon Cinema4D. These applications can then be used to perform, for example, rendering, to animate, or to run a simulation of the model.
