Covid 19/Quarantine 
I have many students absent due to either being sick or quarantined. I am a new teacher at Liberty learning to balance this dynamic. If your child is sick, *please* do not stress about missing work. If your child is quarantined and wanting to complete work or is feeling better, wanting to complete work, and stay up with their classmates: please check Schoology. 
Freckle and Khan Academy are both digital ways we are practicing math skills.  These are excellent ways for your child to stay on track, but not feel the frustration of completing a blank worksheet, attempting to do exactly what we are doing in class daily. Both of these platforms are accessed via Clever. This is a single sign-on website found on their MCS bookmark tab on their browser. Both of these platforms provide students with right/wrong answers and also provides a video explanation for the topic. Any parent wanting help finding this, please let me know. 
If your child is sick and cannot do work, please focus on making them feel calm and safe (you as well). If your child (or you) want your child to have work to keep them on track with us while you're at home, please use the resources above and let me know how I can assist you. 
No matter where you are, we will make it through this! I miss your child and can't wait until they are back.
