If interventions are needed, that will be put into place. This is a smart way to finish your ELA credits. • You will be given one topic/prompt for each type (argumentative and informative/explanatory. These are the same topics/prompts shown in the videos within the "Writing Skills and Strategies: Module 1, Module 2" Edulastic "playlist" • You will perform this task using a computer with a word processing application. Ms. Shaffner will be present to guide you through the process as well as provide videos to support. • Your constructed essay responses should include examples from your own personal experiences, your experiences as they relate to the topic of source, as well as pointed examples that focus on using this information to prove a point or convey an idea. • Each Module consists of a set of videos. These will be hosted on Edulastic and Wakelet both so that you have multiple dispensers of info and access points to video. Your guided essays will be scored using the OST ELA I/II Rubric. Skills you may not be as comfortable with will be reviewed with you before final submission.
