Searching and Saving Northstar Videos
Literacy Minnesota has a list of quick video tutorials that walk you through everything you need to use the features available on Northstar. The Digital ATDN On-Demand Videos App allows users to access these videos and save them for quick access using the app's bookmark feature. Enrolling Students using a .CSV document
Users (admin and staff) can create learner accounts in Northstar.

Creating and Managing Tags
Northstar uses tags as a way to filter students' usage of the program, such as checking administered assessments, where they are in their modules, and other useful reports.

Since there are no specific guidelines on how to create tags in Northstar, take a look at the following tips on how to create and manage your tags using Northstar:
Think about how would you like to filter information. These questions can assist agencies in how they would like to categorize their tags:
Would like to filter by class and/or teacher?
Do you serve more than one town or location?
Are you interested in grouping students by their reading levels?
Decide on the tag categories you would like to use. You can break them down by teacher name, location, student level, town, days the student attends, or any other category that can be useful when filtering the data reports available in Northstar.
Structure your tags to follow a specific pattern to make them easy to identify and filter. This would be useful if you find you are repeating multiple tag combinations. Below are examples of a few ideas:
Teacher Name-Class Name (Adorno-ESL1)
Time of Class-Days-Program (AM-MW-ESL)
Student Level-Location-Teacher Name (Beg. ESL-YWCA-Adorno)

Filtering Reports
