For seven weeks I immersed myself in the 2019 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup in England and Wales. 
Reporting for eight different publications based in the UK, India and South Africa (ESPN Cricinfo, Cricbuzz, Evening Standard, New Frame, South Africa Cricket Magazine, Eye Witness News, Cape Talk, 702 Talk Radio), I followed South Africa's progress throughout the tournament.
Spanning eight different venues, I attended the Protea's 11 fixtures (including two warm-up games), both semi-finals and the monumental final between England and New Zealand at Lord's. 
I reported on press conferences, produced match reports, interviewed a range of players and coaches and delved into several investigative, long-form pieces over the tournament for a total of 89 articles.
