After 20 years in a school district, teaching in a classroom and serving as an Ed Tech PD Coordinator, I started providing professional learning opportunities, both in person and online, for AK educators statewide in 2009. My passion as an independent consultant began with the inspiration of technology in the classroom and continued on to blended learning, educational leadership, Computational Thinking, and Computer Science opportunities for all our students. My focus is on supporting teachers in their endeavors to provide the best learning opportunities for today’s students. Along the way, I have earned a Masters in Educational Technology, a Masters in Educational Leadership, and multiple certifications, including my most recent as a Computer Science Fundamentals Facilitator. I am a lover of continual learning! All of my formal education, certifications in various areas, and experience in AK schools, both urban and rural, allow me to meet the professional learning needs of today’s educators.
