Ridin' the wave! 🌊 A veteran educator of 26 years, I am proud to say that I was an elementary school teacher and Reading Specialist for the majority of my career. As a Digital Learning Specialist, I coordinated and implement Instructional Technology Initiatives district-wide. My content area is Literacy, but my work supports all teachers across all subjects. I strive to integrate Instructional Technology meaningfully into classroom instruction. My areas of expertise include literacy, research, early childhood education, culturally relevant pedagogy and curriculum design. I have presented both regionally and nation-wide on topics related to both Literacy, Digital Tools, Early Childhood Education, and Educational Policy.
