In the Language section, students are introduced to the study of English Grammar which spirals to the study of the different levels of language description as students’ progress from one level to the other. In the literature section, students are introduced to the Study of Literature where they explore the different genres of literature together with theories on which they are anchored. In their final year, students write, produce and direct your own drama/plays.
Although there are widespread misconceptions about how English majors fare on the job market, I can assure you that studies in English will open doors to all sorts of rewarding careers.
