An amazing experience
A big thank you to Richard Shackleton, the Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Hungary, for giving up his valuable time to talk to our year 2 and 4 students about climate change and the rainforests this week. Richard is passionate and knowledgeable about climate change having led on this during his time in South America, where he became very familiar with the Amazon rainforest and the damage humans are causing to it.  The Year 2 and 4 students came up with some very difficult and challenging questions but Mr Shackleton, as you might expect from a seasoned diplomat, handled them with aplomb! Well done to Mr Willoughby for organising and thanks to Miss Dodd, Miss Haley and Miss Roberts for 'managing' the event.  We are always looking for innovative and exciting ways to engage our students and this certainly had that 'wow' factor.
