End of term
Today marks the end of the most unusual term in my 26 years in education. We have all experienced something unprecedented over the last few months. If, as we all hope, things return to near normal for the Autumn Term, what will remain with me from this period is the knowledge that the students, staff and parents at Britannica are even more resilient, flexible, supportive and creative that I realised prior to this experience. 
This final week of term has been a microcosm of the incredible digital skills development journey that we have all been through over the last three months. It has been a week of 'firsts' for the school. Our first online Britannica's Got Talent show, our first Transition Webinar, our first year 6 virtual production, our first digital reports distribution, our first virtual activities week, our first end of term virtual class parties and the release of our first digital yearbook! 
I would like to thank all of the students for their willing participation in the events and also my amazing staff for all of their work, not just over the last week but throughout the year.
