In November 1990, AutoCAD was released on personal computers (PCs) by virtue of a partnership with Hewlett-Packard (HP) Computer Systems. The initial version of AutoCAD was a plug-in to HP-compatible PCs with HP's line of X-Windows-compatible workstations running the Xenix OS, as part of HP's 1990 line of DeskTop Design '86, with only the graphics department given access to the data files of the full version. This design is known as a client/server architecture.
An alpha version of AutoCAD was first released for Macintosh computers in 1990, and was known as AutoCAD System. The Macintosh-only, Windows-based AutoCAD took advantage of the operating system's features and the new 3D hardware acceleration for the first time. The Macintosh version introduced 16-bit color at a resolution of 640×480 pixels, and was released as a Macintosh Plus and Macintosh 7200.
The first version of AutoCAD for the Macintosh was released in May 1991. It took advantage of the 16-bit Power Macintosh with RAM memory expansion and an ATI Radeon 9800 graphics card and was later named AutoCAD BMP. AutoCAD 1999 and its subsequent versions for Windows PCs required 64-bit systems running Windows 95, Windows NT, or Windows 2000, with an ATI Radeon 9600 graphics card. AutoCAD 2004, the first version of AutoCAD to support 64-bit Windows applications, featured significantly better graphics and rendering capabilities, while maintaining the simplicity of the previous AutoCAD versions. AutoCAD 2007, the last version to be dependent on Win32 applications, had significantly improved graphics capabilities and rendering and introduced 3D drafting, thereby making it the first professional 3D CAD application for the Windows platform.
The first version of AutoCAD for the Linux platform was released in 1999.

I am creating a form that allows the user to check off boxes to create categories and in turn add some posts to them. When I do an update or delete all the categories/posts are deleted and there is no tracking of what has been deleted. So in order to fix this, I am storing the id of each category/post along with the action (i.e. Update, Delete, etc.).
The first problem I encountered was using $request->get('category') to select the category. It was only returning the first category selected by the user. I fixed that by looping through the categories in a select tag and storing the selected category in a variable like so.
