Christmas Travel
Please can I ask that all parents reflect on their plans for the Christmas period? We would advise you to stay in Hungary.
If you do choose to travel outside of Hungary, please note the following:
1) We expect all students to be able to return for face to face teaching (not in self isolation or quarantine), in school on Thursday 7th January 2021. 
2) Should you choose to leave the country and be unable to meet this expectation, the school cannot provide additional work on CANVAS for children who are absent, self isolating or quarantining due to travel. We are also unable to authorise any absence, if you have chosen to travel and are unable to return to school.
3) Should you decide to travel, all COVID expectations at your destination country and on your return to Hungary should be met. This also applies to embassy employees and families. If you are from an Embassy family and choose to travel, please note that you are not exempt from Britannica's expectation that you receive two negative tests before returning to school.
Many of the families at Britannica and also the staff have indicated that they will be staying in Hungary this year, for the benefit of our community. The decision to not return to family at Christmas time is a very tough one to take and something I really appreciate.
