Advocacy for Alzheimer's

Actress Marcia Gay Harden, from CBS’s “Code Black,” is on the Hill today to testify about Alzheimer’s at an Aging Committee hearing chaired by Sen. Susan Collins.

Harden recently published a memoir, “The Seasons of My Mother: A Memoir of Love, Family, and Flowers,” about her mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s.

Have you been seeing a lot of purple around the Hill today? There are hundreds of Alzheimer’s advocates visiting offices and at Collins’ afternoon hearing.
