Our Rapid Learning Approach

Our approach to learning Thortspace is a terminology-first approach. Learning terminology and then practicing by doing incremental learning projects are the two key steps in our process. While the basic process is similar to the one outlined in Steve Litt's Rapid Learning book (see link below), there are some key differences. Three key differences are:

Our goal is to build fluency in the use of terminology. Hence, memorization is an important part of our process. We also practice terminology in different ways to develop fluency.

We use specific tools (Thortspace, Plectica, and Wakelet) in the learning process. Plectica is used for terminology mapping, and is thus an integral part of our rapid learning process.

Finally, we emphasize development of rapid learning systems. We are starting our rapid learning journey with Thortspace because Thortspace will be used as part of our learning system for other learning journeys!
