cStatus is a software tool designed to monitor TCP and ICMP ping.

The current status, known as the status
When you select a host name, the application pops a window with the following information:
- The host name or IP address
- The type of connection
- The current status, known as the status
- How long the connection was up for
- How many connections there are
- The history
- The connection ID, which is the number that you can assign to entries
- The TTL, which stands for Time To Live
- The timeout, which is how long the host should wait for a response before creating the entry
- The number of retries before failure

As far as the interface is concerned, cStatus has a simple window with a straightforward layout, where you can check out the host name and type of each connection, along with the last known status, send and lost packets, current, average, minimum and maximum RT, downtime, duration, description, and error message.
This information can be filtered by host, connection type (TCP or ICMP), description and status (alive, failing, failed). New entries can be added to this list by specifying the host name or IP address, timeout, interval, and number of retries before failure. Other settings revolve around the connection type and port, buffer size, TTL, history and alarms.
