 Which means you need to use a second computer to access the router.  A second desktop is ideal, actually.

 Great!  Go to the router's user interface, find your wireless network, look for "password" and "new password" (most likely that will be "admin"), and enter the network's password as the new password.
 i tried that too but it said "password mismatch"
 That's the new password.
 The old one is now blank.
