Free Resize Video is a capable application with some shortcomings. I was able to change the size of a single FLV file fairly easily, but making large changes to entire folders involved manual labor. The search function was also rather unhelpful. This tool cannot be properly described as an "all in one solution" for resizing videos because it does not offer an easy way to process an entire folder, a function that was very easy to implement within 'Resize A Movie'. The search feature was also a bit of a work around and did not always return the intended results. Overall I found this software to be a good alternative if the need is only to resize a single video file.

The files that were resized were the exact copies of the original video files, i.e. when you open a video file, you can see the changes of video quality just as if you'd open the original one. I am able to convert files from many websites as you'd imagine, and I can open video files from my music players, so it's not that hard. Anyway, the tool is probably a good option. Thank you.

Edit: If you want to be able to edit a video in several formats in addition to LAME encoder then you can go to  and there you will find a review of the program with a small tutorial on how to use it.

Tried it out, great interface. You can either let it pick or, like many of us, pick manually. However, as you change the quality you will notice your video continues to play, which is great. It also takes quite a long time to "loop" the movie back to the original quality, so it is not
