In the main directory where you have Dokan's source code you may also have a folder. Create iPhile.ini there or wherever you like to save the configuration.
Run the program and you can choose the device you want to map.
Restart the iPhile.exe program if needed.
Press button.
If all worked good, you see a success message.
If you see an error, an info message is written to log.txt.

The plan was to use C# or something like that, and I did initially, but I could never get around a runtime bug that makes Dokan (the library it uses) throw an exception when FAT file systems are accessed (like iPhones), which would mean that the mapping wouldn't work for the iPhone. As it's almost impossible to use Dokan instead of Manzana.dll, I had to create a replacement.

I had to use Objective-C for iPhile 2. The project is open source and you can download it here. iPhile 2 is a library for accessing device files, that will be part of a new Android project. I'm currently writing articles for the iPhile project. Feel free to use the source code and create your own version.

iPhile 2 is basically a simple iOS SDK that will be released as open source. The idea is to extend the OS and let apps (using some lightweight framework of my choosing) talk to the OS directly. As we all know, in iOS apps are sandboxed, and this is a security weakness. An app cannot talk to the native filesystem directly in order to read/write files.
This is how iPhile will replace that. It will expose the filesystem in a very well known interface (NSURL), allowing any app on the system to use the filesystem in a simple way. iPhile also allows an application to talk to a iDevice directly, to retrieve files and such. In addition, it allows apps to upload and download files from the device.
Also, if someone is interested, iPhile will allow apps to enumerate their own files. Imagine a standard app that runs on a device like a camera, and has all the photos that have been taken, but only on certain devices. With iPhile, it could list them and stream the data to a server, allowing a remote application (browser, app, script, whatever) to access them.
How To Use iPhile on Windows:
iPhile isn't just for iOS devices, it works with any filesystem that can be accessed using Manzana.dll or Dokan. It's not difficult to use, once you have Manzana.dll in your computer, just go to Add/Remove Programs, enter Manzana and click OK. After that
