The film features Dharmendra, Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Sunny Deol in lead roles, along with Rishi Kapoor and Ajay Devgn.
The film is a remake of the 2006 Tamil film  Poovellam Kettuppar. The film was released on 22 September 2007 in India.
Plot
Bilal "Bobby" Bhagat (Sunny Deol) is an orphan who was abandoned by his father. His mother (Bipasha Basu) took money to arrange Bobby's adoption by a wealthy man's family and he was adopted by his new parents, Dr. Harsh Deol and Smita Deol. His adoptive father is a wealthy cardiologist, who is particularly fond of good food and gambling. Bobby is not allowed to talk to him or his wife, and so he soon grows up with his cousins, Prem (Rishi Kapoor) and Jhon (Ajay Devgn). He wants to be like his cousin Jhon and become a police officer, which his adoptive father detests. Jhon is a kind, soft-spoken, loyal man, but his wife, Sonia (Kareena Kapoor), often clashes with him over the issue of pursuing their lives and bringing up their children. Sonia is a typical Bihari girl, and Jhon lives as her house servant.
Bobby's father is also fond of betting and gambling, and constantly gets into debt. One day, he goes to meet a low-level gangster named Yash, who takes him to his cousin, who helps him by receiving a hundred crore in return for the promise that Bobby would study at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in England. Bobby, who has been thinking about joining the army, agrees to the arrangement, unaware that he would be a future soldier. After his father loses all the money and is arrested for cheating in a card game, Bobby finds a letter in which his father expresses his wishes to him.
Jhon, meanwhile, returns home late at night. When he starts talking to his wife Sonia about his problems with Bobby, Sonia finally understands the sacrifices and hard work Jhon has done to help his family and their children. At this point, Bobby is still unaware of Jhon's true intentions. When Jhon discovers the deed is not registered, he and his wife decide to travel to Kolkata in order to register the deed in a high court. While they are away, Bobby finds out about 3125841983
