What do you think is meant by this? How would you respond?
·      He claims also  “Moving beyond the destructive doctrines of atonement-centred theologies, Thomas Berry points out that Jesus did not come into the world, added on later, so to speak as a necessary afterthought. He came into the world that was make originally in and through himself as the creative context of all existence”
What difference would this make to your understanding of the world and the message of Jesus?

·      “Resurrection is as earthy, local and intimate as our sweat and blood, our dreams and nightmares, our drives and passions. It as real as whatever and whoever drives and drains us, draws and drags us”
How could his understanding of the Resurrection of Jesus transform your understanding resurrection in your life in the here and now?

·       “The Bethlehem baby’s defenceless presence, his shocking and precarious weakness his overturning of all our ideas about the nature of God, stuns us into silence”
