The Saturn Corporation was established in 1985 and is a subsidiary of General Motors (GM). Despite Saturns original mission to focus on the production of small cars, the companys plans were broadened to accommodate numerous body types when GM bought the brand in the mid 80s. Under GM, Saturn released a number of models including the Outlook, SL and SC1. The Saturn SC and SL were the first models released by the company in the 1990s and introduced their first crossover SUV model in 2002. The S-series cars were made up of compact sedans and coupes, while the L-series consisted of mid-sized sedans and station wagons. The company also unveiled various concept cars between 1984 and 2009. Saturn received numerous awards between 1991 and 2008, including Technology of the Year from Automobile Magazine, and North American Car of the Year. I found a service manual for my wifes pathfinder at Download-Service Manual.com but when I search for Saturn, it show two entries for the SL2 (2002) and then redirects to Tradebit - which didnt have what I was looking for....smh.I am really hoping that I dont have to spend the $300+ from gm to get the entire thing, but its not looking good. I havent bothered with HaynesChilton since Ive seen enough negative information on the forums that I think it would be a waste of $$$. Does anyone have any solutions?? Join Date: Apr 2015 Location: Kansas City, MO Posts: 92 MP2 vs MP3 You are welcome Flanker7! SL2 is Dual overhead cams, so you have the MP3. The MP2 is designed for the single overhead cam. The only difference between these two manual transmissions are the gear ratios. There is a discussion on swaping 5th gear from a MP3 into a MP2, and results in setting codes, pros and cons about the swap and why. Derf commented on that post as well when someone commented on changing the PCM. A DOHC PCM will not work with a SOHC engine without setting a ton of codes...if it even works at all! http: Here are the ratios for both, all years and models. I am going to have to change the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor. Do I have to drop the tank to get to it or is there an access door to access the top of the tank? I have a 2008 Astra XE and love the car, but need to fix this to get through the smog check in Ohio to get it licensed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
