Baadshaho is an Indian Hindi film. The film released on 19 October 2017 in India. The movie is the sequel to 2016 film Jab Harry Met Sejal. Directed by Sukhwinder Singh.
Plot
A group of Indian soldiers return home to their village in the Indian state of Punjab, following their deployment abroad. On their return, they are greeted by the community with much fanfare.
Their commanding officer, Colonel Vikram Mehra, dies a few days later from the trauma of his experience overseas. The soldiers bury him.
Four days later, one of the soldiers, Kamran, is missing. His daughter, Neha, is distraught. The villagers, however, do not want to talk about her father. The next day, Kamran's best friend, Bhaskar, finds Kamran's body in the nearby jungle. He is convinced that the body belongs to a stranger, but the villagers refuse to accept it.
Kamran's mother, Samiha, has made a deal with the spirit of Kamran's father, who had died some time before Kamran's birth. It is customary to go out to perform a ritual at night, as a mark of respect for the departed. The deal with the spirit is that he will protect the family if Samiha gets married to Bhaskar and bears him a son.  She agrees to the arrangement, as she does not want to lose her daughter.
Bhaskar's mother, an old tribal woman, tries to stop the marriage on the grounds that Bhaskar is not a "good" match for Samiha. She reveals to Bhaskar that his father, Mehtab, was the murderer of the local policeman and that he is under constant threat of death. Bhaskar manages to convince the villagers that the killer is Kamran, and that he has gone abroad to find Kamran. He and the local policeman go to the house of Kamran's uncle, who agrees to bury Kamran, but warns Bhaskar that the police will be interested in talking to Bhaskar.
The police arrive, and Bhaskar convinces them that he is Kamran. He is sent to India, where he meets Neha and finds out what happened to her father. The police are not convinced, however, and want to prosecute him for Kamran's murder.
