Rastogi is convinced that the stroke was fake. Qureshi is also unsure, but Rancho clearly isn't. They fall in love again. Later, with help from Bala, they decide that if Rancho were to pretend to be ill on the next flight, the three of them could spend time alone together. Bala tells them that Rancho's sister has died and his friend Dushyant has become his caretaker.
There are complications, however, as a plot to kidnap a minister from Delhi is uncovered. They believe that all the passengers are on board and will hijack the plane, including Rancho. They take several measures to foil the plot, but all fail. The plan eventually comes to fruition and a strange incident occurs as they are about to leave the plane, leaving them stranded.

Production
After the success of romantic comedy Baghban, producers Harish Bali and Neelam Aggarwal of Jai Bhushan Production approached director Rajat Kapoor with the script of the film, titled Kahaani, and began filming on August 11, 2006. An initial budget of.5 million was quoted. Rajat felt that more of a 50% budget would be appropriate for such a film.
Actor Rajkumar Yadav, who plays the lead in the film, was a popular contestant of the reality show Fame Gurukul. Rajkumar was then a member of the boy band Junoon.
Release
The film was supposed to release on 9 December 2007, but was postponed due to unknown reasons. Eventually the film was released on 8 January 2008.
Critical reception
Critical response was mixed. Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama gave the film three stars out of five, calling the film "a breezy entertainer which possesses a mix 3125841983
