BSP Viewer Portable is intended to help mappers with the technical and production requirements of Half-Life: Source. Most questions and suggestions should be directed to Valve.

Other than the default support for Source and DX7 shaders, this program also supports the following file formats:

.BSP: This file format is used by the Source engine, primarily for the construction of a world model by a mapper.
BSP Viewer Portable does not require the additional materials files (.MD3) that the original BSP Viewer program required. A version of the BSP Viewer Portable program designed to work with BSP files only is included.

BSP Viewer is a simple, but very effective utility designed for mappers for previewing Half-Life 1.bsp files and
technical information about how they are being rendered.
BSP Viewer is meant to help mappers find problem spots in their BSP files that might need to be fixed or optimized.
