Unable to compare time with a new time format
I've searched around and tried several methods, nothing so far seems to work. I have a time formatting set up. The output should be 00:02:00
This is in my format.php page which extends the base.php file.
$actualRunTime = strtotime('00:05:00');
$accountRunTime = strtotime('00:01:00');
$newFormat = "00:01:00";
if($accountRunTime > $newFormat)
{
    $actualRunTime = strtotime('00:02:00');
    echo $actualRunTime;
}
When I run this code $accountRunTime is always larger than $newFormat which is what I want. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
