International Day/Discovery Day
Today has been a really exciting and enjoyable day at Britannica. A fantastic way to end the first half-term of this academic year. The students in year's 1-6 performed beautifully in their costumes in the Auditorium, fully representing our International diversity and culture. Year 6 also did a sterling job with our traditional flag parade.
In secondary, our second Discovery Day provided students with some exciting cross curricular opportunities framed under the theme of Space. I know they enjoyed themselves and really engaged well with the activities.
Well done to all the staff involved in organising performances and activities.
A big thank you also to all the parents who volunteered to support and run our International food court in the gym. The variety was amazing and the children and staff really appreciated the opportunity to sample different foods from around the globe.
