Reading and Writing Part 1: Matching (words to definitions)
		Look at the pictures and read the definitions very carefully. 
		Copy the word accurately without adding or skipping anything. 
		Make sure you know ALL the words in the combined STARTERS AND MOVERS wordlist. 
Reading and Writing Part 2: Short dialogue with multiple-choice responses (Choose one from three options.)
		Read ALL THE OPTIONS very carefully BEFORE deciding which one is correct. 
		Look for helping verbs (is, are, does, did, etc.), pronouns (he, her, their, etc.) and make sure they make sense. 
		Read the question and answer together - does it sound good? 
Reading and Writing Part 3: Gapped text (Short paragraph with blanks and words with pictures)
		BEFORE completing the first gap read the whole text and all words carefully and look at the pictures. 
		Try to guess the part of speech (is it a noun, a verb, an adjective...). Pay attention to verb tenses (is there -ed or -ing in the end) and singular/plural forms of words (is it one or many). 
		There are 5 gaps, 1 example and 9 pictures so you have 3 extra words. 
Reading and Writing Part 4: Multiple-choice (Choose and copy missing words.)
		Read the whole text first BEFORE filling the gaps. Read the words below too. 
		Do NOT write your own word, just choose from the 3 options below. 
		Watch out for verb tense (-s, -ing or -ed in the end of the verb), prepositions, singular (one) or plural (more than one) form of the words (child-children; mouse-mice; doll-dolls; etc. If there is "a"/"an" in front of the gap, "one thing" is in the gap.) 
		Make sure you do not mix up the lines. ;) 
Reading and Writing Part 5: Sentence completion based on a story (Fill in 1, 2 or 3 words.)
		READ carefully BEFORE WRITING. 
		NOT MORE THAN THREE WORDS 
		ALL the answers are in the text. The text above and the sentences below say the same things in different way.
		Think of synonyms and alternatives of words (replace "her mum and dad" with "her parents", or "the goat, the sheep and the chicken" with "the animals".) 
		Be careful with the FORMS of the words, they should be grammatically correct. 
Reading and Writing Part 6: Independent writing (Complete 2 sentences, answer 2 questions and write 2 full sentences.)
		KEEP IT SIMPLE. Use clear structures (There is/are, present continuous verbs) and easy words that you cannot misspell. 
		Write as carefully and clearly as possible. 
		Sentences should REFLECT THE PICTURE and be grammatically correct, otherwise they will get you no points. 
		Sentences in questions 5 and 6 should be DIFFERENT from the ones in question 1, 2, 3 and 4, otherwise they will get you no points.
