Google has added a couple of new features to YouTube which adds to their collection. You can set the whole of your computer desktop background to a YouTube video, or even use a single YouTube video to set the whole desktop background. Now you can add soundtrack to your videos and play a short clip of the music as a background.
So now you have multiple ways to put a YouTube video on your computer desktop. The options are:
• Go to My Channel, then click on the gear icon, and then click on your profile icon, then click on the Videos tab.
• Open the Upload Wizard by clicking on the New tab and clicking on Create a new video.
• Open the main YouTube menu by clicking on the Play icon in the YouTube bar.
• Open the Videos page by clicking on the Videos tab in the My Channel page.
• Type in the name of your video and hit the Create button.
• Go to My Videos, then choose the video you just created, then click on the Play icon.
• In the Movie Info section, change the Movie Info.
• Choose an image that you want to use as the desktop background.
• Click on the Create button.
• Select the video for the slide show.
• Click on the Play button.
• In the Video Info section, change the text and then click on the Play button.
• In the Desktop section, you can customize your desktop.
The best way to use this function is by uploading a video to the desktop. Then go to My Channel, then click on the gear icon and click on My Profile, then click on Videos, then click on the Upload Wizard.
There are other ways to use YouTube as well. You can create a playlist of your favorite songs and then view the playlist and listen to the music. You can also go to My Channels and add your favorite videos to your My Channel and then choose what videos you want to view and then add to the video playlist.
