Parametric was founded in 1985 by John Casasanta, who served as its first president, and it began to evolve its first product lines, being the first company to launch high density printed circuit boards. The company was subsequently acquired by Macro-Data, Inc. In 2000, Macro-Data Inc was acquired by Advanced Technology Inc., which was acquired by TTP, Inc., which was acquired by Crystal International Corp. in July 2004.
