Move to remote learning
Following Thursday's government announcement, all students will be moving to digital learning from Monday 8th March through to to the end of the Spring Term on March 26th. As a community, I know that we are all really upset about this decision but with a worsening infection rate and hospitals struggling, it is understandable in some respects. Hopefully, greater numbers of people will have been vaccinated by the time we are due to return to site on April 12th.
It is remarkable that it was almost a year ago, to the day (March 13th 2020), that the first move to digital learning occurred. 
The challenge for all families to manage work and school under one roof remains a difficult one, particularly for those with younger students but I do know that we are all much better prepared (and more technically skilled) this time around. I did send out some guidance for parents yesterday which is below but, as with any situation regarding your child's learning at Britannica, please do get in touch. In most cases, the class teacher is best place to answer your question. We are all available to support. We are all human though, so would ask that should you have a suggestion or a frustration, it is communicated appropriately
